Practice at home
A good fit
I built this practice for Arizona families who need speech therapy from home.
If you're using ESA funds and want flexible, high-quality speech support without the commute, I'd love to help.
I work well with kids who focus best at home — with a parent nearby to coach practice between sessions.
If you're juggling school, work, and activities, I keep therapy flexible so it fits around your life — not the other way around.
What I work on
Here's what I focus on with kids — tailored to your child after we talk through their needs.
Clearer speech sounds so others understand your child with less frustration — at school, with friends, and at home.
Putting thoughts into words: vocabulary, grammar, word order, sentence structure, storytelling, and asking for what they need.
Listening and understanding — following directions, comprehending language concepts, and making sense of what they hear and read.
Pragmatics like turn-taking, reading social cues, joining play, and navigating friendships with more confidence.
Simple path
From your first message to meaningful practice — I keep it calm, clear, and from home.
Email or call me to share a bit about your child. No pressure — just a warm conversation.
I'll walk through goals, schedules, and whether teletherapy is a good fit.
I meet you over live video from home. A parent or caregiver stays nearby to support.
I'll send you home with simple strategies so skills stick in real life between sessions.

About me
I've been a speech-language pathologist since 2022. I'm licensed as a speech-language pathologist in Arizona. I started my career supporting adults recovering from stroke and brain injury — helping with thinking, understanding, and swallowing recovery. In 2024 I moved into school-based teletherapy and found where my heart is: working with kids.
Teletherapy lets me meet children where they are, with activities that keep sessions playful and meaningful. I've seen real progress happen on a screen, and real relationships form there too. I started Miss Kayla SLP to serve Arizona ESA families who may have limited access to in-person care — so more kids can speak more clearly, grow their language, and feel confident communicating.
Outside of sessions, I'm a wife and a proud dog mom to Evie and Howie. I love spending time with family and traveling — we recently honeymooned in Thailand and Vietnam, and we're planning a trip to Japan later this year.

Arizona ESA
Many Arizona families use Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds for speech therapy when it fits their ESA plan. I'm glad to work with ESA families and can help you understand next steps — including invoices or documentation for your records when needed.
This site does not guarantee reimbursement, claim to process ESA payments directly, or offer legal or funding advice. Eligibility and approved uses are determined by Arizona ESA program rules and your account. Please reach out to me to discuss how sessions can work with your family's situation.
